Mastering Your Thoughts
Jan 19th
Right now, your body, your mind and your life are a reflection of all your past thoughts. Let me re-iterate that, Right now, your body, mind and life are a result of all your past thoughts, what they attracted into your life and the actions you took because of them
As humans, we have over 60,000 thoughts a day. And in every thought lays a special esoteric power. Every single thought you have has a recordable energy that ripples throughout the cells of your body and our world.
Think for yourself. Hold a positive thought in your mind and notice that it makes you feel. Hold a negative thought and notice the exact same thing.
Think of your favorite car, close your eyes, and imagine driving it down the road. Here the roaring engine, feel the power in the speed, feel how happy you are for owning your favorite car, smell the new car smell…Did it work? Couldn’t you use your imagination to create that situation? And for those moments, didn’t you feel good, feel happy?
Go over your friends and family, know any ice-breakers? Most people have someone who can just enter the room and the entire atmosphere improves. “Ice-breakers” just have better vibrations then others, which is why everyone tends to become more relaxed when they enter the room. Don’t they tend to be happier, have self-confidence and stress less over situations?
Let’s talk about the negative for a second. Ever have just one of “those” mornings? You wake up with little to no energy, a little joint pain and just a bad mood? And what happens? The day usually turns out how it started, you wake up in that bad mood and start thinking right away. You start stressing about what you have to do that day (brush your teeth, pay the bills) and just attract more of it into your life.
It seems like waking up in a bad mood had a domino effect on the rest of the day that just brought more bad events into your life. That’s because every thought, positive and negative, contain the power to attract. Your negative thoughts are powerful because not only do you think those thoughts often, but you effortlessly attach feeling and belief into negative thoughts (the keys to attracting successfully).
But if we could take that effortlessness and attach it to our positive thoughts and our dreams, can you imagine how much our lives would change? And the beautiful thing about it is you can start to change your life right now. You choose to control your thoughts right now and you will change your life.
The moment I stumbled upon the law of attraction, I realized the role it had played in my life. I realized why success and failure tended to arrive separately and in large amounts respectively. It gave me an answer to the “why” and the power to manipulate every situation.
It might sound too good to be true, but I think that’s a reason so many people don’t know about it. It’s also why many go without giving it a try and fail to make a change in their lives. You can test this RIGHT NOW and decide for yourself. Until then, I’ll go on knowing that
My thoughts and my feelings create my life.
The Fear Of Something There Never Was
Nov 23rd
Very often people spend time worrying about the potential outcome of certain events that eventually don’t happen. It is just the human mind that keeps replaying all the disastrous consequences like a broken record. In hindsight when we look at the outcomes, in 9 times out of 10, what we feared most never happened.
But what we have lost is innumerable hours of worry, tension and stress about something that never happened. I believe as along as man has the ability to think, there will always be such events. You cannot totally rule out worry, but with time you will need to learn how to deal with it effectively.
One of the most effective techniques that I use to deal with such situations is to give it a timing perspective. Lets say that the worst imagined scenario did happen, will it matter to you one month from now, six months from now or perhaps a year from now. If you go down the other end of your time tunnel and try to look backwards in time at some stupid event that happened one year ago, you will suddenly realize how petty this is in the overall scheme of things.
At best, someone will shout at you, your manager may reprimand you, your partner will yell at you. A week later or maybe even earlier, things will soon return to normal. You will better for the experience and the situation may actually have been a blessing in disguise and may have taught you some valuable life lessons.
So the next time you are worried about something – remember to use the perspective tool and look at your problems from a distant perspective. Secondly, look for the silver lining in the crowd and hunt for the blessing in each adversity.
I keep repeating this to myself whenever I feel bruised and battered – that a diamond cannot be polished until it is cut and scraped. Each time I falter or encounter failure, I consider it as another chip off my exterior which is revealing the diamond within me. Soon you will look forward to more cuts and bruises than before, if you want the light within to shine worth brightly in the world.
Don’t be afraid of all the difficulties you encounter. Turn each stone thrown by your critics into milestones in your career path. Lastly, don’t fear something that never was. Show the light of courage to the shadows of fear and you will realize that there were no demons in the shadows.
