How to Be More Happy, the Easy Way
Sep 2nd
Want to know how to make yourself more happy and do it the easy way. Read this, read it all and read it carefully, doing this will make you happier.
If you want to feel happy and make it long lasting it’s simple! Give something to someone else. Buy a present, take them out for a meal and you pay, or make a donation to charity. Doing this will not only make you feel good inside, but it will also make your happiness last. In contrast, buy yourself a present or a treat, and you will feel good, but the positive feeling will not last anywhere near as long as if you have given something to someone else.
People feel emotions according to their facial expressions. So if you want to be happy, make sure your eyes are wide open and put a big smile on your face. You will find that when you change your expression you will continue to feel happy even after you start to frown. It’s important to be aware though that this also works the other way too, and having a smile will not instantly change your state, but give it a little time and you will start to feel better and happy inside.
You will also derive a great deal of pleasure and hot new things that have been forced upon you, but things that you have chosen to do and had to make an effort at, and the more effort the more pleasure and happiness you will get from it.
Go on try these simple things and see how much better you feel.
Doing Work That You Love
Aug 8th
It is a tremendous blessing in life to be able to do the kind of work that you love and to get paid for it. Legions of people end up taking whatever kind of job they can find to put food on the table and pay the bills. Sometimes this happens as a result of lack of educational opportunities but many times it happens because of poor planning. They simply did not know what they wanted to do with their lives when they were young and never made a conscious decision to move in a direction where they could be stimulated and progress in a field of their choosing. They ended up taking jobs that perhaps they thought would be a temporary situation, only to find themselves in the same dead-end jobs many years later. Life circumstances have a way of happening whether we are ready for them or not and in many cases individuals who do not plan for their futures find that they cannot escape the treadmill that they are presently on. Too many responsibilities, too many people depending on them, too many obligations that must be met and suddenly hopes for something more, something better, begin to slide away. It is not absolutely impossible to make a change and to find a better way at this point of life, but the truth is, it becomes increasingly difficult as time goes on.
The time to make the decision about your future and what you want to do with it is early in your life, before you are saddled with obligations that drastically limit your choices. Give it some thought. What is it that you love to do? What activity or subject puts a smile on your face and makes you eager to become involved? It should not take too long to find a few areas that really get you enthused. Those are the directions you may want to focus on for your lifes’ work. Chances are very good that you will be spending a great amount of your lifes’ allotted hours working at something so why not make it something that you enjoy, something that brings you personal satisfaction and fulfillment along with a paycheck. It will make all the difference.
