quality lifestyle

Are your thoughts sabotaging your life? Okay, so maybe they don’t literally have it out for you. But your life is directly influenced by what thoughts you entertain at any given moment.  Are you happy with life? Do you consider yourself a success? If you’re searching for the secrets of success, then look to your mind – and more specifically what’s in it on a daily basis – as the key that unlocks the door to your ultimate life.

Every single day of your life is shaped by the beliefs and ideas you’ve accumulated since you were a small child. And what you believe is either making your life better or worse. So often, those who live in a chronic state of want - be it for income, happiness, quality relationships or any other need - rely on fictitious ideas and misguided understandings about themselves, others, and the way the world works. It’s been said it’s what you know that hurts you, not what you don’t know. Whatever our belief systems, be they positive or negative, they influence our feelings, which spurs action and then ultimately the results we experience on a day to day basis. Therefore, if life isn’t what you want it to be, ask yourself what thoughts about others, about wealth, about your own self-worth, are influencing the poor results you continually experience?

Since wealth is a problem for many, let’s examine some beliefs and ideas you may have about it. Are you envious of the rich, or even resent them? Do you believe the wealthy are where they’re at because they “screw people over?” Do you feel the other classes – people just like you – are more generous and trustworthy than the rich? Consider your thoughts about work. Do you believe a person needs to “suck up” to get the better paying positions? And do you think you would make more money and get more respect if only the boss was a nicer person?

The list goes on and on, but the point is that all of these beliefs and thoughts are negatively impacting your ability to create
wealth. Your subconscious is pulling experiences from your past and influencing your mood – most likely creating anger, which only creates more anger by the way. Not to mention when your mind is preoccupied with thoughts about what isn’t working, what could of been and what’s keeping you from getting what you want, you actually attract more of what you don’t want (because you keep thinking about it) and you spend no time actually working to make a better life. You revel in your own pity party which is unfortunately the path of least resistance and the quickest route to keeping your life exactly as it’s always been. Those who know that cultivating success skills lead to a better life understand the best way is to replace negative thoughts that weaken their success with constructive ones that empower them.

No matter what opportunities and obstacles are offered you each day, your beliefs and ultimately your attitude are key in
either helping you rise to the top or keeping you exactly where you have always been. You are the master of your mind. Remember: you put trash in and you get trash out. Replace the trash with thoughts of value and you’ll reap the riches of life.
