Success is Through Preparation
Aug 13th
There doesn’t seem to be any day that people don’t think about being a success; the primary thought is usually in the forefront as they go about their current daily routine looking for something better. This thought isn’t one that brings you closer, however, because thinking, dreaming or wishing just doesn’t get it done.
One of the most important ingredients on the way to find personal or professional success is preparation. You may ask, why is preparation necessary?
The easiest answer to this question is to say that if you are not ready to move forward, if you are not ready to work or if you are not ready to persevere then you may just as well stay doing what you always done.
Success doesn’t come easy. There are no shortcuts; success requires you to be prepared to sacrifice leisure time, or time spent watching television or going out with your friends at every opportunity. Success means you are prepared to do whatever it takes to constantly move the yardsticks forward day after day after day.
Here is just one quote that expresses what preparation is about, “Our real problem is not our strength today; it is rather the vital necessity of action today to ensure our strength tomorrow.” by Calvin Coolidge. This quote can be interpreted to mean that you may have strength or conviction to start on your way right now to move towards your final goal but it is critical that committed action each day builds to give you momentum to keep going when obstacles arise or when you just don’t feel like you have the interest or energy to stay focused.
Preparation also means that you have a plan or a goal that shows you what steps or actions to take, when to take them, and what to do if issues, obstacles or other life issues gets in the way.
The bottom line is actually quite clear. You either are willing, able and committed to achieve what you want, or you are simply dreaming or wising that success finds you.
When You Write Articles be Sure to Avoid These Mistakes
Jul 2nd
Writing good articles that people like reading is a skill. Most of the best online article writers who create the most popular articles have been doing it for years. The majority of the new article writers who enter this field make mistakes that can be easily avoided. If you want readers to respond positively to your articles, it’s essential that you know about these mistakes so you don’t make them. Remember, every article you write has to invoke enough curiosity about the topic you’re writing on; for instance if the topic you chose is self help, then try to blend in as many interesting points as you can to make it worth reading.
Don’t write articles that are filled with bad information. This is an obvious mistake but is commonly made by many writers. Articles that are created for online purposes are up against a lot of competition from other writers who have the opportunity to write better articles to distribute. You will want to ensure that you always put forth the effort to offer unique, valuable content to the reader. Anyone can put together an article by researching online.
But how differently you do it is what really matters. There is lots of information online, but finding good information is sometimes rare. People will be more apt to read more of what you’ve written if your articles are good, and having good articles will also have people telling their friends about you.
Article writers commonly make the other mistake which is to create content that’s much longer than necessary. If you find that your research isn’t enough to make your article the write length, don’t just repeat yourself. If this were to happen, just find more aspects to put into the article. People reading your article won’t appreciate it if you repeat yourself over and over, and it’s just wasting time and also precious article space. That, and the fact that articles that are too long and don’t really say anything are boring, so make sure you research effectively. For example, if you’re writing articles about personal development, just make sure there is enough information with any kind of fluff; give your readers the meat but keep it to the point.
Of course it depends on what you’re writing about, but there may be lots more articles just like yours online. So, if you are going to write articles on a particular thing, make sure you offer a one of a kind viewpoint on that subject. This requires researching the subject and how it’s already been handled by other writers, so that you may offer a unique take on things.
The more one of a kind it is, the more readers will respond to it. Your title and the article’s body must be able to stand alone amongst all the others. Readers are more apt to come back again and again if you can provide them with good, quality information. These are some of the most common mistakes made by newer article writers. So keep in mind that your articles should always be targeted and specific. People will appreciate your articles if they find an answer or solution they were seeking. The best way to write articles is to present a problem and then give away the solution to it there and then with your product; let’s say your article is related to self help, just try to identify a problem in that area and then show your readers the solution, which could be the product/service you’re promoting.
