Experience Your Dreams
Oct 21st
What would you like to experience? Do you have a list? A list of things you would like to experience is different from, ‘The Bucket List,’ in the movie of the same name, starring Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson and Sean Hayes.
Experiencing things you dream about, and have not, is a choice. How are you stopping yourself from experiencing it? What would it be like to live the life you dream of experiencing? What would it be like to experience the things you have dreamed about?
Have you developed a plan to experience things you have dreamed about? Like anything you want to accomplish you need to have a plan. The adage, ‘Failing to plan is planning to fail,’ holds true.
Spend time each day designing the mental blueprint (plan) to accomplish your dreams. You are made of the stuff that makes up the Universe, the Spirit of the Universe and all its Creativity is within your grasp. You are inter-related with the Universal Laws, which are founded on the understanding that everything in the universe is energy, including humans, and that energy moves in a circular fashion. Thus, the Universe’s energy brings to you what you dream, when you truly believe in it.
Let go of any limiting beliefs. Some limiting beliefs are:
• I cannot succeed, so, there is no point in committing time.
• My opinion is right there is no point considering other viewpoints.
• My actions are the only way to resolve an issue.
• Feelings of inadequacy and non-deserving.
• Fear of success.
• Fear of failure.
Give yourself the wonderful gift of experiencing what you dreamed about. Breathe into the process and move step-by-step. Develop a blueprint of your dreams, imagining yourself already experiencing it with each step. Like building a house step-by-step, you begin with the foundation, walls and then the roof, thus moving forward systematically until completion.
Enjoy your journey of experiencing your dreams.
Change Your Life In Seven Days – Find Your Self Confidence
Oct 15th
Have you ever wondered if someone who appears to be totally confident on the outside, is really as insecure as you are? Most people lack confidence. The ones that are in your face confident are usually relying on their Pretend self. Pretend Self is one of three selves that we carry around.
First of all there is the Pretend self. This identity will fake it until you make it to manage life obstacles. Then, there is the Negative self. This identity focuses on all your negative habits and projects a detrimental image of the self. Lastly, there is the Authentic self. The Authentic self is the tender person you truly are at the core.
Because folks fear not fitting in, many people hide behind the Pretend self. It hurts to be judged by others. If you fit in, you won’t be judged. It takes a lot of energy to live the Pretend self and over time, you forget how to be an Authentic person.
When someone criticizes you, it is the Negative self that will latch onto those words. This self starts a running loop of negativity that constantly plays in the background. Particular triggers will activate the Negative Self. If someone calls you a name, you become upset. Your Negative self believes that you represent that remark. “Any negative traits you identify are not really yours – they belong to your negative self-image, and were programmed into to you when you were a child. By identifying them honestly, you can let them go,” states Paul McKenna in Change Your Life in Seven Days.
On the other hand, Authentic self is your core person (minus the negative and fake parts). This is the self that has dreams and aspirations, the one that feels it’s heart swell with so much love when people you cherish are nearby. This self is powerful and unstoppable when allowed to dominate your actions. It is easy to attain once you recognize the negative and false dialogues running through your head.
