Stress is already a part of our daily living. Since the beginning the early history, it has been experienced by every human. Maybe the levels changed as time goes by but no one escape from it. Before, the concerns of early people are revolving on how to secure food and how to maintain the needs of their family or how to keep safe from the dangerous animals. While today, our main concern is on how to cope up with fast tracks of life. We are always thinking how to beat our competition, how to excel in the eyes of our annoying employer and how to give better life for our family. Nevertheless, these situations are all stressful.

Know the two forms of stress

Distress – this is the common one and it is the constant feeling of being plagued, demoralized, and behind in our schedules and tasks. It is the persistent sense of being overwhelmed by so many things to do but there is no time for relief or relaxation.

Eustress – this is the other form of stress that is actually healthy and beneficial. This kind of stress allows us to keep with the challenges of everyday life and makes it meaningful, it also counterbalance boredom. Eustress can cause the adrenalin rush to use and to lend the essential energy for highest productivity. This feeling are being associated to situation such as being “charged” as you organized in advance a long term paper before its due date or the sensation you experience when you anticipated something wonderful

“The shift” is occurring now. We can pretend we are not part of it, but we are carried along in spite of ourselves. The change of energy, which frequently feels like hell on earth, is not caused by our government, our banks, or our stock market. The higher consciousness of the angels, which I channel, tell me “the shift” has everything to do with all of us living our lives differently.

For centuries we have been caught up in the physical world, perhaps because of necessity. I am familiar only with life in America; therefore, I am unable to speak of other locations in the world. Our pioneer forebears fought their way west in the hopes of creating a better life and at the same time, slaughtering those unfortunate enough to be in their way. We have carried this forceful way of getting what we want all the way into the 21st century.

In spite of the fact that today many are jobless and many more are hurting financially, some even homeless, we are not as yet killing each other any more than before. What is happening is that we sheltered Americans are experiencing our own hell on earth. Comfortable in our world of pleasure, now we are seeing a different personal world than ever before.

Everything that could go wrong is. People who have held the same job for years are now jobless. We used to have the best medical treatment centers in the world. Now only the wealthy receive the superior medical service that we think all of us deserve. We are no longer in the forefront of almost everything. Perhaps we have become too comfortable. Our culture is changing.

Is this hell on earth we are creating? Notice if parts of your life you used to take for granted, are not working so well now. The angels are sharing that this lack of control is your current Achilles heel. If you used to be able to keep all the emotional balls in the air and fiscally achieve, it might not be so simple today. Perhaps someone you love is seriously ill. Or your hard-earned retirement fund is no longer. Of maybe the job you thought your education would allow you to fulfill, is no longer on your mental horizon.

The rules are changing on our planet. First of all our non-respect for the earth itself is beginning to show. We can no longer mistreat her as we have, especially in our industrialized countries.

Secondly, America’s position as top dog in world politics, medicine, and fiscal well-being, is no longer in place. When we are unable to manage our own elected officials and our people in an honest and forthright way, what country wants to model democracy after ours?

And third, in the past there was always more land and more resources available. If mistakenly we ruined what we commandeered initially, there was always more space. Now we have depleted the land. We have polluted the waters, the soil and even our bodies.

This shift of consciousness, which the angels say is a spiritual shift of consciousness, inspires us live differently or remain in this constant toddler battle of my way versus yours.

Remember that the judgment of our five senses is not the path to heaven on earth. The constant duality of our five senses creates a false sense of right and wrong. If you don’t think like me or look like me physically, there is something wrong with one of us, and it’s not me!As we become more threatened by our unaccustomed loss in the world of industry, we seem to be holding tighter to our money. While we hoard we are creating a bottleneck. We are not sharing. Instead of putting your hand out to receive, extend a hand to help. That way when you need help, someone else will offer you a hand in return. For centuries the male energy has ruled our planet. This is the energy of the logical mind, the part of us that is able to search into space, to invent machines to do what we choose not to and to help the sick. At the same time this male energy has denigrated its opposite, the softness of the feminine. This has been the way in our linear world of polarity. The spiritual shift of consciousness requires an opening and acceptance of the feminine, the energy of the heart. Allowing ourselves to feel our vulnerability, to share with each other as equals, and to appreciate and respect our differences is the creation of heaven on earth.

Blending the male energy of the logical brain combined with the feminine energy of loving and caring for each other, honors each of us as if we were the Divine itself. Perhaps we are.

Confidence is an approach to trust in your abilities. Why it is essential and how to build it – following are the five tips to find out.

1. In your mind, react in a hostile and constructive way towards fears.
It is an observation that in every moment of time, fear moves stealthily into your thoughts. Perceive yourself reacting insistently and positively towards those fears. This practice will be a subject of time, before these reactions expand to reality when these situations embarrass in your actual, day-to-day life.

2. Don’t dread to take risks.
Move about the forefront. You have to take risks and set down to do what actually you want to do. Perform What You Fear!

3. Try to do which is impossible.
Do every work with this intention that it can be done, and you can do it, by invoking your inner capability you can do it. Do not at your place with the same pace, if a mistake happens in the length of the way just accurate your actions as you go along.

4. Feel relaxed every time.
When the muscles of the body are kept perfectly relaxed it is impossible to feel fear. It is proved by physiology studies. So identify those contraction muscles and focus on relaxing them the moment you recognize the fear or nervousness creeping in throughout a situation. It is also a common anger management tips that relax your muscles.

5. Always be happy, don’t be feared.
Put back all the feelings of fright and enjoy the feelings that you captured from most pleasure moments ever in your life. What is the thing that strikes the harmony and misses with you a pleasant experience? Think about it! Without any trouble if you exchange your fear with another excellent feeling, then you will be able to convincingly constrain the fear away by pure will power. Immediately modify your internal exchange of ideas to turn around the thought and put a positive twist to it, whenever you identify a negative thought creeping into your mind.

We have a picture of whom we are, how we look, we all have negative and positive qualities but how we deal with these negative qualities is how our self esteem is affected. We start to develop this picture from the day we are born and it is based on interactions with other people and personal experiences of our life. The more negative experiences we have from childhood to adulthood the lower our self esteem will be. Having positive self-esteem is the first step towards happiness and a better life. Self-esteem improves our confidence, people with healthy self esteem are confident, happy, and feel good about themselves. On the other had people with low self esteem may feel bad about themselves as if no one like them, accept them, they can’t do anything good. a low self esteem is a big obstacle in the way of success.

A study conducted by researchers highlighted the relationship between self esteem and academic performance of students. Random sampling was used for collecting data and as a consequence 50 male and 50 female were chosen randomly. And guess what, the results suggested that high self-esteem is important factor and strengthen the prediction of academic achievement in students. Now, the good news is that self esteem is not genetically and it can be changes and it changes over time. So low self esteem is not a permanent problem and we can solve it with some serious steps.

Here are the few steps you can do right away in order to improve your self esteem:

Don’t Strive For Perfection.

Some people become paralyzed by perfection. This fact is that nobody is perfect. So instead of doing everything with perfection, aim for being as good as you can be as often as possible. You will find that you are most comfortable with others if you are comfortable with yourself.

Do Not Try To Control Situations Which Are Beyond Your Control.

There are many things that you cannot control like weather, life-death and most importantly others attitude and opinion about you. So try to ignore other peoples insecurities and shift your attention to goals that you can take charge of. It is impossible to control each and every situation but you can always control your response towards it.

Set Realistic Goals

Another important step for you to do to improve self esteem is set some realistic goals accomplish them. Make a plan for how to achieve your goals and then stick with your plans and keep track of your progress. Many many people write down extravagant goals, which they will not achieve as to achieve your goals you need a strategic plan which means that you need a step by step guide as to how you will achieve those goals but your goals need to be realistic in the first place.

Maintain A Diary To Track Your Progress

At the end of the day make a note about things you have done today, complements people have made about you, note down how you have been talking to yourself and once you start to get into this habit you will improve your self esteem and the difficulties you faced to achieve them. They can be as small or as big as you like.

Each of us has dreams that he wants to fulfill, some people want to find true love, and some to succeed in a career, but most people wants to be millionaires. Globally, each of us strives something that will make us happy. The problem is that many people spend more time thinking about what they do not want. Is it a fear of failure or disappointment? Is it so hard to be positive and happy?

Fear really knows how to be a terrible thing. Force you to feel the pressure in the chest, cured your heart and do not manage to resist this terrible feeling. Turn your thoughts, play a joyful song, do anything just to turn thoughts as referring to “these things” will not achieve absolutely nothing.

Each of us under the sky cap has a right to be happy, be cheerful, to work on self improvement, to dream and to be being rich. Just remember when you were a child how much you have played with imaginary friends; worked in imaginary shops and enjoy in your game. When was the last time you dreamed and imagined what kind of life you want to have? Who took away our imagination? Why don’t we learn in schools how to imagine and thus attract everything we want?

First of all be positive, be thankful for everything you have in life. Why do you think you do not have to be thankful? Look around and you’ll see that there are many people who live much worse than you. Do you know just how many people in the world dies of hunger every day? Do you know how many people have no where to sleep? As you can see, you really have many reasons to be grateful.

Take paper and pencil and write why you are grateful. Write what kind of life you want to live, what you want to achieve, what you want to see, what people you want to attract into your life. Write all your wishes in the present tense, as if that life is already running. Focus on the goals that you want to achieve. Do not think about the way how this is going to happen, focus your thoughts on your end results.

Do you suspect that this is indeed the case? I ask you, do you know how many people have gone to America to realize the American dream? Do you know just how many millionaires in America that you never heard? Do you know how they came to that money? Imagine your life, mix your thoughts with the burning desire to succeed and keep faith. You have to believe if you really want to succeed.

Whether we like it or not we are all destined to one thing: old age. No matter how advanced our technology has become science cannot stop the time from ticking away. People are destined to grow old but wisdom comes in old age. The older we get the wiser we become.

For many getting old is something they dreaded but it should not be the case because there are so many things a person should be thankful when getting old. One of which is the gift of life, not everyone in this planet will have the chance to live more than sixty years old some may pass away at an early age. That is why it is important to embrace old age in a thankful and graceful way.

People have recognized the need to extend help for those who are already nearing the dawn of life that is why the existence of medigap came in. Its goal is to help those who are in their sixties and older have a healthy and better life, it is truly a great blessing to have a medigap when they are in their ripe age because no matter what will happen in their health there is always a company which is ready to help them with their medical bills.

If you have a family member who is nearing sixty, you should be aware of the different types of medicare supplement insurance. Extend your help to those who are old and give the best gift they could ever receive, get them a medicare supplement plan. You can call any insurance company and ask for medigap quotes and if you are too wrapped up in daily chores you can check out online for their different coverage and plans.

People who are in the ‘dawning age’ need special attention and care. Do not just neglect them. Although, some of them may have lost their hearing and some may have difficulty in seeing but definitely they have not lost their need for love and care. If they are in the nursing homes, it would just be right that you visit them as often as you can. Love is all about sacrificing your time and even your patience. What harm can it do to you to make somebody happy?

A simple conversation is what older people want. A constant hugging and a pat on their shoulders. If you have the luxury of time you can give them a good massage to relieve stress and maybe it can wipe away all the loneliness and sadness they feel.

As I did around this time last year, I just saw a Disney-Pixar film that offers some great organizing lessons. This year it was Toy Story 3 that lured me from the comfort of my couch. The premise of the story is that Andy, who we met as a young boy in the first movie of the series, is getting ready to go to college and must decide what to do with his toys. This story tugged at my heart not only because I have son named Andy who’s in college, but also because I see many of my clients face the same struggles as Andy while they move towards creating a new, better life for themselves. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my observations.

The oldies but goodies are goodies for a reason. Andy had a large number of toys that he had enjoyed throughout his childhood – he didn’t seem to be constantly bringing in new toys. What oldies but goodies do you own? While they may not give you the thrill of being new or offer the excitement of finding bargain, there’s probably a good reason that you prefer these things. Whether it’s a pair of pants that fit you just right, a paring knife that makes life in the kitchen easier, or a piece of artwork you enjoy pondering, many things in our life are hard to replace – so stop trying. Don’t make impulse purchases, or even conscious purchases, if you already have something that suits your needs – you’ll end up having less clutter.

It may be easier than you think to let go of things you don’t need. Molly, Andy’s sister, had a bedroom filled with things that were no longer meaningful to her. Until her mom prompted her, she hadn’t taken the time to pare them down. Once she got started, however, Molly had an easy time letting go of a lot of things she didn’t want or need. Her mom’s encouragement gave her the motivation she needed to move things to the donate bin or even the trash, so she could surround herself with things that were meaningful to her now. Is there someone who can encourage or help you let go of the things that no longer make your life fulfilling? If you’re a parent, can you help your kids learn to set limits by helping them evaluate their belongings?

Your possessions may not align with where you are in life. Andy (and his mom) recognized that he was entering a new phase of his life and his toys no longer played a part in that life. Like sending kids off to college, there comes a time when we should release our belongings to live the next phase of their lives and move us along to our next phase. Sometimes it’s hard to face the reality that we’re getting older or that our life isn’t what it once was or what we’d dreamed it would be. We might regret that our career is less stellar than we’d hoped, that that we no longer have time for the hobbies we once enjoyed, that our relationships have changed, etc. Are you hanging onto things because you’re afraid that if you let them go you’ll be giving up on your dreams? Consider how letting them go might give you the physical and metal space to create a new life in alignment with the person you are now.

Others can benefit from your castoffs. Andy donated his toys to someone else so they could provide her with the joy they once had given him. Rather than remaining locked away and forgotten in his toy box, they were able to continue being useful once they left Andy’s house. Are you hanging onto things solely because they’re still usable or because they cost you money? Their usefulness or monetary value isn’t going to be recovered simply by you hanging on to them. Consider extending their meaningful life by donating them to someone whose life can be improved by having them.

“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” ~ Buddha

We’re several days into the New Year, and many of us are still basking in the glow of a fresh start.

Every year, January brings renewed optimism for change, for a better life, for a better you. And that’s a wonderful thing.

It’s wonderful, because this fresh start gives us a chance to reinvent our lives and ourselves. It allows us to reinvigorate ourselves, to shed the baggage of the previous year and do anything. Anything is possible!

That is a gift, my friends, and I suggest we make the most of this gift. Not just by creating and sticking to resolutions but by reinventing the way we live.

Here’s how.

1. Let go.

Many times we are held back by the tangled web of previous failures, commitments, emotions, barriers. We cannot change careers because we’re used to what we’re doing and it’s too hard to change. We cannot find time to get healthy and fit because we have all these other things to do. We cannot find time for our loved ones because we have too many commitments.

This is all old baggage. A fresh start demands a clean slate. Let everything from the past go (easier said than done, I know). Clear your plate and your palate.

Let go of attachments to what you’ve been doing for the past year, or years. Let go of failures. Let go of fears you’ve built up. Let go of reluctance. Let go of your ideas about what your life has to be like, because that’s the way it’s evolved so far. Let go of long-held beliefs and habits.

You have a fresh start. Let go of last year, and start anew.

2. Decide what matters most today.
Forget about your goals for all of this year. Instead, decide: what do you want to do today?

What matters most to you, to your life? What are you most passionate about, right now? What excites and invigorates you? What would give you the most fulfillment?

Often the answer is in creating something, making something new, helping other people, becoming a better person, working on a project that will be an accomplishment to be proud of. But whatever your answer, have it clear in your mind at the beginning of the day.

This might be something you work on all year, or it might just last a month, or it might last a week or a few days, or just today. It doesn’t matter. What matters is today — that you’re going to work on this with all your heart, today. Tomorrow … we’ll decide on that tomorrow.

3. Clear away distractions and focus.
Clear away email and Facebook and Twitter and your favorite blogs and news websites and social forums, clear away the iPhone or Blackberry or Android or cell phone, clear away all the little nagging work and chores and errands that pull at your attention, clear away the clutter that surrounds you (sweep it off to the side to deal with later).

In fact, if you can, shut off the Internet for awhile. You can come back to it when you take a break.

Now, find focus. Even if only for 15 or 20 minutes at first, but preferably for 30-60 minutes. You can take a break and check your email or whatever after you’ve focused. Focus on the thing that matters most. Do it for as long as you can, until you’re done if possible. Feel free to take breaks, but always return to your focus.

When you’re done, focus on the next thing that matters most, and so on.

4. Find happiness now.
Don’t look at happiness as something that will come when you’re done with this goal, or when you’ve attained a certain accomplishment or certain amount of wealth or material goods. Don’t look at happiness as a destination, something that you’ll get later.

Happiness is possible right now. Always remember that. When you push it back until later, it’ll never come. When you learn to be happy now, it’ll always be here.

When you’re doing whatever you’re passionate about, whatever matters most, whatever you decide is worthy of your time and heart and focus … be happy! You’re doing what you love. And that is truly a gift.

5. Reinvent yourself, every day.
Every day, you are reborn. Reinvent yourself and your life, every day. Do what matters most to you, that day.

It might be the same thing that mattered most yesterday, or it might not be. That isn’t important. What’s important is today — right now. Be passionate, be happy, right now.

You’ll have a fresh start every single day — not just on January 1. And that, my friends, is the best thing ever.
