Starting Your Day With a Minute of Silence
Oct 27th
Know thyself. Socrates is no more with us but the truth lies with us. So, take some time, sit in the silence, and let your thoughts flow. Feel the inside and outside of your self. Success would be yours when you have mastered yourself by looking inside and giving yourself time.
One of the common characteristics of successful people is this practice of thinking inside themselves. You may try it out and then you may notice the difference. There will be a considerable change in your rate of accomplishment of work everyday.
One great example is of Tesla’s practice. He visualized everything before he started any project. Please note that he visualized the whole process and even tested it in his mind. All this visualization beforehand enabled him face all the difficulties in a brave and affective manner.
It’s not being hyperbolic to state that working the work through your imagination is a real-time work. In fact, this process helps you to become aware about the would-be problems and thereby prepare you to avoid incorrect decisions or mis-steps.
To let your creativity spring up from its lethargy, you need to nurture it with silence. At morning time, you can sit with your thoughts in the mind and pen and paper in front of you. You may feel creative.
When you write down your thoughts without a judgmental attitude, your imagination becomes free. You may come up with a novel idea. As you become creative through this process, your potentials start germinating.
Accomplishment becomes an easy prey when you have prepared yourself for it. So, start with this thinking process and write down the thoughts you gathered. Then you get your steps to perform. Everything becomes easier as you have the whole event in your mind.
When you are trying out these ideas, you are practically following the footsteps of successful people. Start the day by contemplating on the future actions. You may feel more at peace.
Manifest Mondays
Oct 17th
Monday is the most dreaded day of the week. But what if we could change that? What if we didn’t dread Mondays?
And if Mondays aren’t bad for you, or they’re just another day of the week, doesn’t the possibility of making even just one day of the week better sound great?
I want to help you with your Mondays. I know it’s Tuesday. But it’s technically the first day of the work week this week; hope you had a great labor day weekend.
Our goal here is happiness. And to achieve happiness you have to manifest it and one way to do that is to manifest things that nourish happiness. Thus: manifest Mondays.
Manifest Mondays are days (preferably Mondays) in which you do as much work as you can. Now, don’t get too crazy and stay up all night or anything, but seriously, just do work. Get in the zone however you get in the zone, and do work.
What’s the point? Why not spread it out? And didn’t you just say I would like Mondays?
Yes, you will love Mondays. The point is that if you accomplish enough on the first day of the week you will expect the same or more the rest of the week.
If you accomplish say 60 percent of what you needed to do, how would you feel? Imagine 100 percent (I know, I know). How amazing would you feel? Wouldn’t you wake up feeling great over and over again until that next Monday? Wouldn’t you want more and more of it?
Say you did a lot of work on Monday. Would you wake up Tuesday through Sunday with a lazy mentality? Or would accomplishing so much in one day push you more towards being driven and motivated to seize the day?
And maybe you do just want to be lazy, being lazy is best done when there’s nothing else on your mind! And Manifest Mondays can help make that happen.
Ahhh…. Now you’re getting it.
So first: You clear up the week. More time for you, more time for the family, more time for friends.
Secondly: You start off the week in achievement. This leads you to crave and desire accomplishment, only inspiring and motivating you to pursue more.
Third: You start off the week feeling great. Attacking your fears (work being one of them) may completely suck at first, but it’s one of the best feelings experienced when you’re done.
Lastly: You can focus on what you really want to focus on. Now, this could go back to the first point (family, friends) or it could go back to an idea you have, a business you have, etc…
Some of you aren’t monetizing your passion, and I feel really bad for you. Not that I’m on some high horse, it’s just that I know how it feels to make money doing what you love, and I want that for you. If you have more time in the week, you can do that. And eventually… eventually… you could make your passion your primary source of income. How good does that sound?
Obviously there are more benefits to doing this, but those are three I like best. You’ll never know the other benefits if you don’t try.
This is your opportunity to manifest your happiness. Based on all the reading and studying I’ve done on some of the most successful people in the world, I can say that attacking your fears and being persistent and dedicated in work are a couple of the most practiced habits of those who changed our world. You don’t have to change the world, but don’t you want to at-least change your life?
Start today (oh the irony). Grab a cup of coffee (singular), put on some music you like; do whatever you need to do to get in the zone, and do some work.
It’s time to start LIVING!
